This year I felt that my 6th grade students needed extra practice and remedial work at home to help them overcome difficulties they had.

Before the Easter vacation I started a wiki so they could practice listening to a dialogue, reading it and then answering questions about it. I organized the wiki according to the units in their textbook. For the listening, I uploaded the sound files of the dialogues. All they had to do was click on the link and listen to the dialogue.

Then they could read the dialogue in the book and listen again while reading a second time. Finally, they did the quiz online. I corrected each one online too and then put their names, scores and feedback about their mistakes in the corresponding unit page.

I mainly used Quia, which we saw yesterday, to write the quizzes, and made a lnk to them in the wiki.
